We're redoing the log-in dialog a little bit to be simpler, more attractive, and have an option for logging in as a guest.

I think #3 looks best. Nice and simple, yet still looks good. The others have seemingly pointless pictures with the words, and the colors don't exactly match. How does one vote, though? I see the stars, but can't submit my own. Is it only for the contest runner?

Threw this together in about an hour or so. The pale blue glow is the roll over animation.

Doesn't look like current 2d art to me, the general shape is similar on the two outer ones, yet they are at a different angle, so they were obviously changed. The middle one's general shape is a picture from an SS ad, never used in game afaik. Besides, it looks great, although a bit of variation in the shade of blue used throughout would go a long way imho.
