Post Another small update to make map more usable.
I've made it so the map shows up and down warps a bit better. To get the patch, just (re)log onto the game.

Question: The SS client won't patch up to a new version. It downloads the patch, then the installer crashes/closes without applying it, meaning i need to download a fresh client every time the game is patched...

Anyone know what could be causing this?

There is a thread about this somewhere. I think HAL figured it out, we'll investigate before the next patch. Sorry for the trouble.

awesome map updates :)

one more suggestion would be to go to the same place on the level up/down

eg, if i am centered on one staircase galaxy which leads up, and i push the up arrow, i should be centered on the staircase galaxy which connects to the previous one. this would allow us to find our way slightly easier

i hope that makes sense ... i dont have a map to give an example right now :P

I know what you mean, and this was how it was before, there was some issues with though when the map was empty.

As you (specifically) have been told before, that is only fixable in a uni reset, and it has been fixed for this upcoming reset, according to HAL.
