Kind of helps if you actually explain the problem. I don't think he is trying to say that so much as he is saying base gear is total shit atm, lol. Im continuously pushing the point of ALL base gear not just shields. Because there is several problems Roger that.

Re: March 9th 2009 - Dev Update 6
I don't know if this is true, but I've been told that the Silent Death is getting put back to it's previous -range stat from what it is now. Is it because panthers are complaining that DS's are better than Panthers? They were given same hull stats, they have built in damage, and can use other overloaders that don't reduce range. Plus their generator.
As is, DS's have gimped range out off all 'three' of the T20 light fighters. Isn't it supposed to go 'Good, Better, Best' for Vulture, Death Striker, and Panther?

He was trying to have trade slaves evaporate on logoff, only if they didn't have an order. I guess he forgot to take mining into account. The reason he did it though is cause some use trade slaves as mobile storage to go DGing, and so they need them to evaporate if they die. I'll have him fix it. Sorry about the hassle.

Re: March 9th 2009 - Dev Update 6
I have to say that if the Silent Death goes back to the old -range stat then the DS will be better than Vulture, and Panther will be better than DS without any other necessary changes (besides Panther being the same hull space as DS if that hasn't been put in-place).

Maybe y'all should explain how you're coming up with these numbers. You have a built in, expensive to obtain, overloader with a major penalty built into it. Compared to an easy to obtain AI station Overloader that can be changed on the fly to suit needs and the situation, and that's only draw back is that it may blow up every now and then.

Re: March 9th 2009 - Dev Update 6
Those numbers are a fact. Looking at the base stats for Vulture and DS there is only one thing that the Vulture is better at. It has 20 more speed and instead 90 less hull. Then you also have to keep in mind that the Vulture has 3 built in items, two of these items are size 10 so with that in mind the DS really has 110 more hull.
Sure the Vulture has the advantage that it can switch overloaders to for example get more range. The +70% damage on the silent death is pretty hard to compete with though.

Um, are parasites supposed to not stack? In my snowflake, when I hit someone in colo with sleet sludge, they always have one. No matter how many times I shoot them, every sleet but the first one disappears.
