Hey Guys

I've fixed up the galaxy map interface to be more useful with this layering system. You can switch layers and it helps you navigate a bit. Hopefully everything else still works well.

I love the fact that you guys seem to be focusing on the map and small problems like that... how about fixing the stupidly overpowered ai or the giant swarms?

Its better to do the doable things first.

um... the map layers was very confusing for almost everyone involved. It was the most urgent patch.

Yeah the layers have been my biggest concern in the new uni, that and another very annoying bug which is best to not mention until it's been fixed. Then we can laugh about it.

Ai balance is being worked on at the same time. Personally I have already toned down Condor and Drop which apparently was a little bit too strong.

love you admins =P. it was one of the more bigger problems btw coz trying to find stuff was a pain and they got to start somwhere.

layer name is "on top" of gal map, buttons "under" gal map... err... wanna make buttons to be on top too ?

If you notice all the buttons are under the gal map... but yeh i noticed that too. I'm going to look into it tonight and see if I can fix it.

/search function is now bugged, centers you on a galaxy in The Nexus only.

/search works for me for all layers. Maybe a bad search could center on Nexus, ill have to check that.

Wasn't working this morning, cheers. Works fine now.

When scrolling up and down through the layers the map always centers itself, it would be more useful if it remembered where it was last.

It now will center on you in the layer you are in. I guess i could make it remember but that would take a rework of the system i have in place for not that much added functionality. If this is still an issue though, bring it back up.

PS. when i say now, i mean after the next patch.

also, when you enter a DG, map go to nexus layer...
