I'm sorry to say, but we feel like we're at the point where the new ownership stuff just isn't tested well enough to go in tomorrow. We've decided that for this universe, while we will add in the team HQ and a couple of the planetary building projects, ownership will act the same as always. This means that the team HQ's will basically just be bases with powerful field generators that each team can only have 1 of.

Advanced HQ Defense Field: +20% range and +20% damage for allied ships and drones

Good... considering the chaneg regarding base owner skill needed to equip items on bases being put in quietly.

This being cancelled at leaves gives us some way to manage that fuck up

also, no offense, but you tell us this like 6 hours before the reset? what if some peeps who were all prepared for this dont bother to check development notes before the reset..? there might be some anger over this, idk, im just a noob

Unless they havent already checked the dev notes they should do so while the game is down when we start up the new uni. Also the people that do check the dev notes should tell their team mates and friends. Im pretty sure the word will get around.

FYI, some other things that will be patched in tomorrow:

- Smoother AI distribution among the galaxies

- Longer Jux jumps

- Removal of the key requirements for Concourse

- One giant Concourse that goes from the tip of the north spiral to the tip of the south spiral

new changes ^ totally awesome especially the smoother AI distribution, will make warp3 alot less frustrating when in the chain part, where there is only forward and back, no "around"



the timing on telling us the old rules are in effect after putting HQ kits for sale is kinda annoying.... 6hrs before reset.....

So, are concourses basically just juxtas now? Or do they only need w3 to enter?

Concourses will work exactly like Juxtapositions.
