Jeff, i suggest you hold a poll on this, see the whole player base's opinions, because this change could turn ss right side up again, or further screw the market.

also for the t20 drones:

LC drones mfs 2 lcs, elec to deploy 5000
t20 duh resists and stuff whatever about 100 size

too much lipo drone, similar to the above one but a bonus to ROF and range
about 250 size

I love aug drop rates. I started killing platties 400 levels ago. I now have 400 more levels, and i have gotten...THREE sup range augs over that time...that's about 1 sup range aug per 600 platty kills. Sounds fun.

Seriously, can we get a way to make augs allready?

Look, dumbass, platties are preaugged with sup elecs, leaving less room for other augs. One would figure that platties aren't the best way to collect augs. Kill something else and stop complaining

MF reavers drop alot of good elecs and exc stealths, hmm wonder why.. Not trying to get smart with ya, but its obvious that both of these types of ai are preaugged. Since i didn't include that MF reavers were preaugged, ill continue to say that green battleships also are preaugged, hence why they always drop good cap, dmg, or firing

Edit: vultures are preaugged with exc speed, that's all i get from them

nope :P, but forgones have 9 aug slots,a ton of slots waiting for you to sink your love cyllinders into(ooooo its surg too :) /me looks at the topic)
MF 2 and 3 forgones have good elec and firing equipped
nephils drop dg lewt sometimes for spacey''s
and BGs drop random augs, similar to forgones, icepicks, drop nice augs too(non MF)

pre equipped augs have no bearing on the augs randomly generated to fill the slots.

If a ship has 5 aug slots and 3 are set it will spawn with 8 augs, 3 set and 5 random.

AI Mzungu liquids have 5 std inbuilt augs and 5 more random ones if I recall correctly last time I looked in Enigmatic.

Using polls to decide this kind of change is not a good idea. Everyone is going to vote in a way that will benefit themselves directly rather then stepping outside of their own prisim and voting on what would be best overall.

Agreed.

But eitherway, surgical still affects the drop rate of augs atm and engineers don't have a good surgical drone as titan or BFD's, so it's a nerf since surgical affects the drop rate of augs. And kinda nerf to FC's cause piracy only affects 50% when killed by a Slave or Fighter.

So, a good way to start would be putting nice surgical drones and giving everything that could last hit the ai piracy 100% of the skill.
