Absentis tweak adds -100% speed yet fails to make the user force thrust to stand still. this in effect allows the player to use the tweaks while kiting which imo seems a bit retarded ^.^. adding a force thrust +1 for 5 seconds seems like a swell fix since it already adds +100% vis so some added engine vis is a scratch.

I considered giving it forced thrust but that combined with -100% speed simply looks stupid.

Yes. It means you cant do anything other then drift. If the AI isnt within range it wont follow you, if it's within range it can hit you and you wont be able to dodge. Seems fine with me.

Personally I try to stay still with my sniper to get the full skill bonus.

Yeah, you lose most of your range if you dont stop. Also, if you use any knockback weapons you stop anyway.

The Portable Potables mission for engineers is bugged. It says it finishes in Beta Antares, but there is no finish ability there in the base.

Edit:
The Bipolar AI(both teams) are not aggro to each other, but their bases are.

Armada Ambush Mine has no weapons, no aura or anything :roll:

So... intended or just "yey lets play find out what a random t20 perma drone does" :mrgreen:

Note: It does not have weapons listed, as other drones.
Note 2: It does not give an aura either.
Note 3: And neither does it blow up like a mine when some ai runs over it... damn drone

1. It has a weapon - a very low range weapon

2. It isn't supposed to have an aura

3. It is a permanent drone, not a mine


I'll put it to PaperTiger (as the creator) to test if its working as intended.

I tested it by running into a basil gal and laid it, then i let several basil's go directly over it without it doing anything :P and the description says nothing about weapons, so i guess its a bug :)

I've looked into all of the new drones, and there's an issue that effects all of them.

Hotfix will be patched soon.

Armada Aegis base shield does not require IK to use, though the blueprint does.

I don't know if this is the same for the other new items, as I only possess the Aegis.

dont know if this is a bug or so but Ice drones(T7) are seriusly OP for there Tech lvl...
87% resistance to everything exept Shield transference
they just need to put those around something that can heal and its almost unkillable...

T20 Drones:

Advanced Command&Control Drone takes 1 Titan Shield+, 1 Titan Radar+, 1 Titan Energy+, and 1 Really Big Laser+.

Bubble Drone takes Titan Radar, Titan Shield, Titan Energy.

Huge Forcefield Generator takes Titan Radar, Titan Shield, Titan Energy.

The latter 2 are perfectly balanced in credits costs/commodity costs/usefullness, the Advanced C&C Drone is just bloody expensive when you have to add 1,5b extra raw cash to buy all the + items needed instead of normal versions.

Also another issue:

When Engineers die, their drones loose the bonus from the augs equipped. Change this please?
