One thing I can say that does work is the Seer critical hit thing when invisible, seems to make every unseen hit a critical.

they way the skill is setup it is supposed to be a 100$ crit chance if unseen.. look at the stats of seer.

People please TEST the relationships of damage etc on test, don't just say it is broken that doesn't help, quantitative data can give hints into what is going on...

Please add honor marks as a repeatable mission or testing becomes VERY difficult with every top player only being able to test 1 skill.. we need to make sure the people with money can test what they need to test.

Ok I am trying to do some testing but I am just getting pissed off at this point, I can't test cap ships... fine. I want to test slaves but I don't have the right stasis gens and I can't find copper... Why doesn't the Fleet base in lyceum have them as an item?

if anyone can explain to me why i cant get a signet to start a skill chain went to lycuim and accrop and was not given a signet on 2 alts or am i to explore the whole of test uni and find ai bases that give the skills as i dont wanna waste my life on that

guess the new skills are in the new bases in lycuim but cant dock tried to skill up on to alts everytime i do the 2 missions i dont get a signet this is stupid should be able to freely dock at any base until you chose a skill chain

i see in some posts players have had sim probs so if someone can post the chain would be helpfull if accrop and lycuim i have masses of missions shown but hence none to give me a new skill

Dock at Earth Central in Sol and start the mission series that leads you to Lyceum. Go to Lyceum and finish the mission there. You need a special Signet, so start the Signet mission while you are at Lyceum and whatever Focus you want to go down. Fly to Acropolis right next door and finish the Signet mission there. Start the mission to return with the Mark (below the Expertise/Specialization trade-ins) and fly back to Lyceum. Finish the Signet mission with the Mark there to receive your Signet. Finish the mission of the Focus you selected by trading in the Signet. Dock at the appropriate Focus base and level up your Focus and select/level your Class in the neurotraining tab. After that, dock at your Class's base and level your subskills.

If you did already get a Focus and then performed a skill reset, a bug with the Signet mission allows it to only be performed once per character for the time being.


Jeff: what was updated or fixed? I noticed that the universe was reset on the test server.

OK, a new uni on test is up. Caelestis fixed the mission chain with the signets so everything is repeatable now.

In addition to that, I've fixed the problem with the damage, Made the nero-doc temporarily free (although it still says it costs money), made the class augs unsticky, added a message every time you shoot someone so you can see exactly what effect the skills are having, and made multifiring stack linearly so that it has the effect that you would expect.

I had done the first of the two Signet missions to get the Signet, which involved going from Lyceum to Acropolis, before you fixed it. After the fix, the Signet mission to get the Mark and go back and trade it in for a Signet still does not display in Acropolis.

I will use an alt to test if its just related to me starting the missions when they were bugged.

I tried to do a skill reset on my alt, but you need to have 500m on you at that moment to get it. It does not take the cash, but still checks if you have that 500m on you.


And, yes, it appears that the Signet missions work as long as you didn't break the mission before the fix. Could you reload the test database so no one on it has this bug anymore?


Something I also noticed is that Sniper base still gives the Spec aug mission.

i found 1 bug.. its the argo with the police i even poded my self and died 3 times now and they still haven't forgiven me + they killed me twice then i sudiced 3rd time no effect..

Missions still broken if you started them in the first test uni... the mission to receive the honor mark is still broken...

Minch says there is problems in training sniper, but I can;t be sure because I can;t get more class signets.. also class signets seem to decay on logout.. that is a horrible idea that might have started this chain of why my missions aren't repeatable...

Kutos on the damage shown effect, it will help in testing immensely, and might be a nice addition to actual game play, but it is kinda spammy, if you could add a timer so it only showed damage every 4 seconds or so it would be nicer.

Seer dmg is bugger. With a jiji I do 312 dmg before getting seer skills and 2 dmg after.

see I was able to do 8814 and 4406 damage with my panther fang as seer, with and w/o crit hits. my venu pulse would only do 3k damage though
these were to bases with 0 resists

How about making every skill cost 1 SP, or even 5 like they used to, even if it is just for the test? I am SOOO pissed right now, because to max a focus and a class, I need 80 MORE LEVELS, and that is starting with 430 SP. I hope it is less on the normal server, once they are released, but at least fix it temporarily for us?
