Notch just began the project but I thought it sounded interesting and worth sharing. Re: Space game from the maker of Minecraft Have you guys read through the part about the emulated 16 bit CPU that controls your ship? It looks like players will actually be able to write programs for that emulated CPU to use in the game. That opens up tons of new gaming and marketing possibilities, especially if there's an easy way for players to trade applications with one another.

Since about Minecraft 1.6 though, my opinions of Notch have just gone down hill. He's on my very short list of things that make me irrationally angry just by talking about it.
