That was the Critical Chain Bug. It's been fixed, so it shouldn't hurt to reveal what it did.

The bug was reproduced on a ship that could fire multiple weapons. The first weapon had the normal damage, the second weapon was this total squared. And the third was the second's squared.

If it isn't that, thats the idea.

So in the end, a normal seer that did 1000 damage would be pushing 7000 damage, which let BaG one shot a 400k(or so) bank monk rhino.

Now, imagine what would've happened if a sniper got his hands on that bug.
