Post you may say im a troll, but you bumped the thread.....
funny how when you speak the truth you're almost always just repeating something someone smarter has said before you

http://bigpondnews.com/articles/Technol ... 00955.html

http://shawnotto.rebeccaotto.com/neoren ... 11219.html

if you dont beleive in manmade climate change, watch the video in the second link

if it doesnt convince you nothing ever will.

Funny, I already posted those climate results, but I don't understand what the title has to do with climate change. I believe ignorance came before trolls. Trolls pretend to be ignorant, when being ignorant is just simply ignorant.

the title is from a john lennon song

it all ties together, because climate change is denied predominantly by people who lie to themselves, people to whom the truth is entirely subjective and, the kind of people who can trail off in their own beleifs independent of others, the kind of people capable of going against society's norms because they disconnect from them

without the ability to disconnect, suicide bombers would not exist, tryants would not exist, political usurpers would not exist

climate change is the pivotal battle for our future as a species. either humanity comes to a consensus and reaches these extremists who threaten our security, keeping their ears and minds open, opening the door for reason to become the predominant determinatory factor in almost everything, or humanity fails to meet the challenge and the fundamentalists drive us back to the stone age on a planet with a runaway greenhouse effect

united we stand, divided we fall

EDIT: united we stand, divided we bake.

i mean, we could hope for some kind of saviour, but we would be trading a long term problem for a short term one, swapping a destabilised planet for a destabilised genius, leaving open the neccesary foothold for someone to rise to absolute power

and the last time someone was rewarded with absolute power, for saving people from something, was in the 30's in germany, and it didnt end well.

so naive of you to think ur regurgitated posts mean anything let alone that it is as simple as you seem to think it is. the truth is stranger than fiction

when did i ever say my posts meant anything?

i post this shit not as a warning, but as a past reference so that i can claim "I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO"

if i make predictions, and people beleive me, then those predictions are partly self fulfilling, but if NOONE beleives me because they're closed minded, time and time again i get to say i told you so, time and time again they look back at the words they ignored and think "fuck, it doesnt sound any less insane than when i ignored it the first time"

you can say anything you want but in the end the only thing that could at all be said to actually matter, is who was correct. who predicted the way the future would unfold, and who sat back ridiculing those predictions, or in other words "did absolutely nothing", as opposed to doing something on the same level as posting a facebook status

that is why i am a troll

truth comes in time like the fall of a guillotine blade, is it wrong for me to try to get you to put your neck on the line knowing what will happen? to use your instinctive opposition to put you on the wrong side of the argument, or is it good, in the fact that when the truth does come, by knowing you were wrong you will get closer to being right

nothing we say matters, not until we speak as one

dont get mad at me because im tramping over ur bridge, you posted it, so you should've been prepared to be criticized, yet you are surely insecure since you posted more than once. perhaps you're trying to convince yourself more than anyone else

Hmmm, possibly the greatest statement on the forums, although he would never admit to it.

you see, healthy doubt is neccesary when attempting to understand complex things and predict outcomes, if you securely beleive in something then you cant really test it for truth

tl;dr -

i thoroughly appreciate your aknowledgement that i am not a fundamentalist fucktard who beleives retarded bullshit without reason, and that i meet concepts with healthy doubt (or insecurity as you call it)

i hope that one day you too will be able to rationally judge concepts and ideas on their merits, rather than clinging to the ideas thrust upon you by your relatives and teachers

same goes for you ditka, keep working and eventually you too will be able to have an idea without throwing yourself into it completely before checking if it actually makes sense or if there is any point at all in posting a reply...

god damn trevor, how long has it been... i cant even remember anymore. get. the. fuck. over. it. nobody gives a fuck if your religion is scientifically innacurate, not even the people who SHOULD. why hold a grudge over it??? if you hate me that much, make a thread about it

I don't hate you nor does this have anything to do with my religion. I am simply commenting on the fact you think you are correct no matter if you are wrong, hence you being a troll. I respect the fact you find religion to be bogus, retarded, useless, and destroying the world. I will disagree with you, but respectfully, unlike your rude arrogant comments.

Wrong. i was referring mostly to ditka, but if you have genuinely thought about it and reasoned why you beleive what you beleive, then you should be easily capable of explaining it. just saying "wrong" only communicates your opposition to the statement, with no reasoning for why it isnt true

actually, just demonstrating that not even you have any idea what you're saying

when you try to insult someone with the equivalent of "HAHA, HE USED RATIONAL INQUIRY!", you know its time to quit

insecurity in batshit insane predictions is a good thing. you tried to insult me by saying something good. what the fuck are you smoking???

Oh good, I thought we had driven off the angry troll, but it seems he was just on vacation.

Anyway...

Can you prove this? I mean, Ben Franklin, but... Do they mean literally founded or just improvement over time by hardworking people?

not quite sure, but as you said, Ben Franklin

and the latter is true, american "ingenuity" is responsible for most of the modern world and while it may not neccesarily come under the banner of science, it definetly relates to it

the more time you spend examining what science actually is and does, the dumber the climate science deniers seem, its becoming less and less about "right" and "wrong" to become more about "science" and "not science"

i dont know why, but i just feel that people shouldnt benefit from stuff they dont support or beleive in, i dont beleive in jesus, i dont expect anything from jesus or his followers, and likewise, if you dont beleive scientists about climate change then how can you beleive that you're safe having electricity in your walls? if you make the exception that electricity is okay despite only being supported by science, then the only reason can be that you grew up with it, it is normal, which is no reason at all

for the same reason that having electricity flowing through your walls doesnt seem scary, the religion you grew up with seems completely normal

without understanding, the safety and trust are illusions. until you have removed the initial bias towards that which is familliar you will never have an objective picture of your life and the beleifs you live by

to put it another way, you dont know what something looks like from the outside until you actually look at it from the outside
