They couldnt defeat Soviets even if Moscow was conquered by Nazis. There are few reasons: Stalin ordered to move military factories behind the mountain Ural and also winter was cruical for Soviets.

We must also remember that the nazis had technology far superior to the allies as well. The only thing the allies had was radar (which was basicly crap the first year) and their code cracker whose name for some reason eludes me.

Army warfare is all about strategy if you do it right you can beat an opponent with both greater numbers and firepower. Counterfactional history is hard to say anything about, simply because it is counterfactional. The Nazis got stomped when they tried to take Moscow, sure, but they also lost the Battle of Britain due to their inferior radar technology.

If i would have to be counterfactional i would say that if the Nazis were not allied with Japan, the war could've taken a completely different turn, even though they would probably end up loosing the war simply due to the amount of resources each side had.
