China still has a super weapon. The hydrogen bomb which is quite devastating and I was not saying that China can win a war against the US but there are chances. It also has about a thousand nukes. If the war would be started by the US that would cause internal turmoil... if by China, it would get gang banged by the western world and perhaps Russia.
But one on one China would have a 20% chance of winning. They surely have some special forces too and special tank designs. Why else would China play so aggresively on the world stage. They don't seem to have fear of any other nation.
Well perhaps of their economy. As if a country would declare war against China, that country would go bankrupt. Not all gets down to the military units, not even in armed conflicts.
Didn't mean to say quantity beats quality. But there is a chance of such a thing anyhow.
And why do people think that nukes are so significant. I don't think the US will ever use it again a city. Or at all. Perhaps smaller versions of the nuke. I belive they don't have the balls to screw earth even more.

Good example of quantity versus quality look up WWII. The nazis had waaaaaaaaaaaay better weapons just not enough of them to win the war. The Soviet did not even have guns for all of their soldiers and still they pwned the nazis on their own. Yes you Americans came AFTER the nazis where already beaten by the Soviet.
