Make Siege Drones more easily obtainable?

The mission in Perpetual Motion is great, unfortunately catapults are RARE and everyone wants them for their sniper.

I tried for 2 weeks (a long while back) to find even 1 cata, and couldn't. Took me 1 week to find one for my sniper.

Either make the mission give you 4 Seige Drones (like DWO) or make it only ever require 1 inital catapult. That way players have to still bring rare but easily obtainable materials for the Seige Drone mission.

Plus the blueprint is ridiculous, 2 catapults for 1 drone? I've never even seen one.

TL;DR

Make Siege drones easier to obtain by only needing 1 inital cata at Perp Motion.
After that, it can take 1000 prom and 20 dark matter for all I care, at least it's more obtainable

I don't think Catapults are actually rare, nor are they massively in demand by snipers. Maybe you offered too low. Many people are too lazy to check their storage for a few hundred mil.

Are they really worth using on drones that are so easily killed though?
I was offering 700m

At that rate it would've taken 2 weeks for 4 drones, which is really unacceptable

Isn't the Catapult required for HGG or something? It was either that on an Ares build. Anyway, I've never heard of anyone using Siege Drones since before the rebalance. If they're actually underpowered then they should either be beefed or the cost of the should be lowered.

Seige drones are actually rather nice...for a tech 19 engineer. Let me take a minute to count how many of those we have...uh... :roll:

Yeah, every Engineer that can use them also can use Armada Drones.

So, yeah...

Siege drones are t17, There are pax selen/testudo out there... Cheaper alternative to armada drones would be nice...

Who uses Armada drones though? In my experience Infernos or Ambushes are always better.

Only person I have ever known to use siege drones was GP-Zero. Ofc, he was always a bit strange.

Armada drones are useful versus speed demons in PVP, long range and high tracking

And highly annoying when you find 2-3 DS+ Engineers that also happen to outrange Snipers.

It's more that they outrange a sniper than that they can beat us :P

Even moreso that they can SEE you at that range, too >.>
