 New ''Ruins'' I had a idea floating around for new ''types'' of ruin item to promote midgame to T20 content. The different flavours of these facilities could really spice up the game as it stands.
Basically different factions would have several types of facilities that can be found on planets, these facilities can be searched (like ruins) for items.
Example
-Kalthi-
Destroyed Kalthi Missile Facility (contains specialized missile launchers, missile blueprints and mobile missile generators)
Destroyed Kalthi Ship Facility (contains specialized ships tailored for use by gunners)
-Pirate-
Destroyed Pirate Research Outpost (contains specialized gear tailored for use by Speed Demons and Snipers)
Destroyed Pirate Research Facility (contains specialized ship blueprints or actual ships and higher end gear tailored for use by Speed Demons and Snipers)
Pirate Gun Storage (contains mostly surgical weapons)
etc, etc
If there's interest I could think up a entire line of these facilities including semi balanced stats (*cough*)

I think current ruins needs new T21 items and in my opinion all Ruins and Enigmatic Sector are forgotten. There are many player who have epic ideas, so pls listen to them dear Jeff_L.

Its not new races/ruins.. Im just taking whats there and spicing it up to do exactly what you said =D New items ^^ Putting in stuff like this not only adds a ton of new content but also prevents the market from being swarmed with blueprints for aloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of gear and turns it into a funmode colonization effort that might pull newer players into colonization.
