Things like -Shield regen auras (like going over a sun) should take into account your resistance to damage. Currently it only takes into account your +shield regen (which can be effected by augs and shield chargers), and your shield bank (which is also effected by augs).

I only say this because it is important to account that the resistance to damage stat on augmenters also plays heavily on your effective shield bank and shield regen.

That would nerf FC Radx auras back to the stone age. As a FC, if I want to give up my Buff for the Radx Debuff, I should not be doing more dps with a peashooter than the effect of my Gamma Emitter.

well ur not actually technically taking damage so i think its fine how it is. except for the sun in snake hole, that needs to be preventable

We'll also need to beef the sun in KKK level, and in every boss fight and AI that features some sort of Degen aura.

What the hell are you talking about? The suggestion is quite simple. Every sun that used to do damage did it in ticks, and that used to be affected by your ship's resistance. Now they all apply a degen aura that is not affected by resistance. Make that aura, and no other, affected by resistance.

This is what I'm referring to, Enk. Paxx did not say ONLY Suns, though I'd assume he'd imply only. Since he did not specifiy only suns, every degen aura is included.

Which includes my poor Gamma Emitter.
