Post Exp Point suggestion
In another game I played when I was younger called Flyff, the more players you had on your squad, the bigger the exp bonus you had while leveling.

So if a squad of 10 people all were leveling at the same time, it would benefit you individually more than if you were leveling alone with 1 dps + 1 shm.

Also, the squad would receive bonus exp if the squad was full, and everyone was contributing to the exp tithe in that squad.

This could potentially be a replacement for the shm and director/councilor exp bonuses.

Also I think ubers should give more exp as well, at least then doing oly a lot gives you chance to level a bit

Only issue I see is people like thermal mass leveling characters, inviting their lvl 10 alts onto squads of 10 and just afk leveling. Not sure how you'd prevent abbuse.

Currently, with two people you get a 50% XP bonus, with 3 you get a 75% bonus, and with 4 you get a 100% XP bonus.

The same leveling rules would apply, if you have a squad of 9 characters that are lvl 10 and 1 person is lvl 2000 then obviously no one will get exp.

It's basically the same thing we have now except you rely on having a full and active squad all leveling.

If you have everyone in the squad in the same area, they will not get as much exp if 5 groups of 2 went off killing different tings.

This is a lie. Currently only the leader of your squad gets a 10% exp bonus.

Yes it works this way, but the leader of the squad gets 10% more than the rest.

The point of my suggestion would make it so that you have a higher individual exp bonus in a full squad than just leveling by yourself.

Also there could be a cool bonus if the squad had certain attributes like age and loyalty where an older squad had a damage buff or something like that idk

FlyFF has an awful levelling system. It takes about an hour to go from just 1 to 3. There are 120 levels total and it scales terribly. At the later levels it takes 6-10 hours just for one level.

Diablo II had a similar system where monsters were harder if you had more people logged into the game, but gave better rewards and XP.

The way that XP scales in a squad right now is fine, since you get more XP total than you would solo, and you kill AI faster. My only possible complaint is that we don't have any zones that throw enough AI at us to have 10 people in a squad actually leveling. (since you'll wipe out all the DGs in an area quite quickly and then waste time travelling to farther dgs)

Realistically, the game is simply not engineered to streamline the leveling process after the nexus.

Exactly, the travel times, time it takes for you to scoop keys, time it takes for you to go back to your storage to drop loot off everything is just so god damn far away that we spend most of the time playing the game just afk aping.

Reguardless this is star sonata, not much has changed, I guess we are just getting bored is all, lol.

There used to be until they changed Hermes racetrack :/

Granted, one person could solo there, but a zone similar in principle would be kinda cool. Maybe mission unlocked like infernal darkness with multiple tiers designed for group leveling.
