Let us flag bases as shops - when a player warps into the galaxy, in the floaty, it could have a little currency symbol, or say shop - I know this is neither crucial nor urgent - would just be convenient by helping people warping into shop gals quickly spot which ones are shops and which ones are defensive bases, etc - just to make it a bit more user friendly.

It'd be nice if it could have a symbol similar to that of the complete mission icon, etc. Just a yellow icon that indicates a shop.

Yeah - exactly - I'm just thinking something very simple.

So, a skin for bases that you can equip. I like it.

Do people not read the names of the bases?

Nice concept, but i find it hard to believe that people don't think things like "Clam Mart" can be a shop, seeing how you make something similar each universe as a shop, and post on the forum that it IS a shop.


Same with things called "Name of Base (Shop)".

Yeah, but you still have to cycle through each base (up to 25) to find which ones say (shop). You also have to actually read them, because they might be "mall", "mart", "general store", or "public place of selling things."

Also, I find text harder to read in C2. Not because its smaller, but just the location and surroundings of the info box. Besides the fact that it wasn't easy in c1 anyway, it is harder now.

We have needed a quick and painless way of telling shops from other bases for years now. I think you just like being contrary for the fun of it.

I have seen plenty of people meticulously docking at every base in my galaxy, even though none of them but one indicate SHOP in the name. In fact, I've also done this in other people's gals just to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Probably looking for private bases selling Rubicite for 1cred per or something ^^

While it is the fault of the owner, I find that very rude. Sometimes I wish I could tell my bases to do that to people when they try again to do it to my teammates, but I know this will invite a number of wars from larger teams.

I'm not sure we'd like a war from even Zephyr atm :\

The tedium of having to tab through every base and slave in the gal to get to the shop is why I suggested this - it is especially frustrating when you're playing on a weaker computer - the game will lag and before you realize it you've skipped right past the shop you were looking for. I doubt this is a major or difficult change to put in, and I believe it will increase the user-friendliness of the game, something that will help with newer players.

Actually i've noticed that Reddit's galaxy Araro has a lot of prices that aren't so great for the public, might want to send a message to anyone with bases to lock them to team only unless its the shop.
