Their drop rate is too high.

There's no reason for the drop to be so common as it's basically useless.

Hell, the last DG boss I did gave me nothing but 2 Mag 9's. Dafuq.

Prawn Pieces were also considered useless and overflowing some time ago. It is just a matter of actually making the Mag IX required for something, like in a drone build, ship build, or weapon build.

Also, why are Mag 9+'s so weird? They do 2 less DPS and gain 10 range. Do they have better tracking?
