A new item would be able to be put on bases, like the trading bay, this would be attached to any starting base, costing a small amount of metals (10,000) and 50 million credits (This is just a horrible example at the moment)

When you go in your shop, the item will be for example, Behemoth (Shipform) which will require a piloting level to take it out, there will also be a view button to see the gear on this ship, t19, 20 and 21 ships could be sold in shipform and you wouldnt have to stasis them for an astonishing amount of time to get rid of them!

It is an intended mechanic that it takes so long for a T19+ ship to be abandoned.

Ships sold from player bases are received in item form. This would allow you to item-form any ship for free. You can already pay for that service and then sell the ship. In fact, that would also allow you to "get rid" of these T19+ ships quickly, if you really insist on paying.

This could be limited to T18 and lower.

And it wouldn't itemform the ship, it would come with the gear the owner had placed on it and you would be allowed to check before confirming your purchase

T20 ships such as Zebra will plumet in price if this is put in.

This is exactly why this suggestion is not a good one. Ships should stay at a decent market price, not become hand-me-downs immediately when someone gets a t21 ship.

It doesn't itemform the ship, it's like buying a ship on the AI station's except with gear.

No reason for them to code a whole new feature and have it be arbitrarily limited, especially when you can use RC18 to trade these already. Every hour spent on this is an hour spent on something that could be more worthwhile and interesting.

Sporeside was terrible back then, unless you mean they're making a new version of it. Which honestly wouldn't be that pressing compared to all the other things they're adding anyways.
