General outline of features:

Chats can have any name excluding the current public chats.
Any player can create a chat.
The creator of a chat is the Mod in that chat until he leaves.
Chats named after players have that player as the Mod.
Chats named after teams have Off+ from that team as Mods.
Chats can be passworded by the Mod.
Players can be booted and banned from the chat and muted by the Mod.
Chats can be joined using /join "Chat Name" Password.
Empty chats reset after 24 hours.

you are asking too much of a game developer based on (star sonata) not chat sonata (get my point ^,-

what hes trying basicly to state is he wants a Open windo but permanant version of say a SQuad chat ( this would basicly become usefull due to allow spying and organiszed events to happen seperatly assied from squading and interuption of picked up loot. wich i think coukld be simplifioed by adding as a option in the menu by simply making it do not show squad pick ups ?????? ^,^ (at the least) add more if your bored ^,^

the reason this is not in currently, is quite simple. It would make it even easier to form alliances, and last i checked, we were trying to make it harder for alliances to exists. So until that stance change, i highly doubt custom chats would happen.

I would like to talk to Mofouler, Yellow, and BipolarSteve. None of us are in any position of true commanding leadership of the 4 teams we're spread across. You mean that we all have to log onto a ventrilo server or use the ss IRC channel if we all want to just talk to each other without going to the pain and suffering to have a squad(especially if Yellow or Mofouler are on a dging squad with their respective teams)?
