Post Matryoshka Fighter: Revival
The idea was loved awhile ago and had no opposition. It was endorsed by Yugioh (he found a new love for exclamation points) so that must mean something. However, it ended up not being bumped for a year and died. Anyway, here it goes again.

Matryoshka Fighters are based on the Russian dolls: Matryoshkas. So basically, the idea of this fighter is to create a massive swarm. They are considered strong fighters and as such are FC locked. It would utilize all damage types and needless to say it would be fun to watch. Here is how it works:

Quote:
Large Matryoshka Fighter
T19
Takes 4 slots
Uses Mining and Radiation Damage
Launches Large Matryoshka Fighter

Medium Matryoshka Fighter
Uses Surgical and Heat Damage
Launches Medium Matryoshka Fighter

Small Matryoshka Fighter
Uses Laser and Energy Damage
Launches Small Matryoshka Fighter

Tiny Matryoshka Fighter
Uses Physical Damage

The launch times would probably be around 1 second long. The DPS along with shields decreases per size, so Large Matryoshka Fighters have the most shields and damage, while the Small ones have the least. Also, if a fighter dies, so do all the fighters below it. I.G. My Large Matryoshka Fighter dies, and all the other ones die too. Or: My Tiny Mastryoshka Fighter died, but fortunately nothing else died due to that.

So what do you guys think?

I had a similar suggestions, cept it was with EF dread spawning EFBS, spawning EFBC etc. down to EFF and chichuawa fighters. :D

I'm not an FC anymore but...As long as this isn't overpowered, and the fighters are based on the fact that they spawn fighters of there own and don't do overwhelming DPS together (not that its a bad thing, but most people will call out overpowered because then FC would have the power!). /Signed.

I have seen some fighters that operate on this principle. Some of the new Easter fighters launch sub fighter squads to attack their targets.

I am definitely in favor of it. I think it would be pretty awesome.
