im asking you to make the kikale mzungu firgate and the gologoay vazaha archetype either tech 18 so they can be slaved or tech 20 so so they can use armada gear Please

While it is a dumbass, it does have a point.

The Archtype, the Spectre, and the Frigate are horrendously underpowered.

1. The fact is that T19 augs are no where near as powerful as T20 augs. A Gen Mast is almost as good as 2 Gen Prowess.

2. The ships seem to be treated as suped up T19 ships, as if they were designed for low level characters. This is a problem since low level characters rarely get the lore skills if they knew about them at the time.


My solutions:


Kikale Mzungu Frigate
1. Reduce some of the hull bonus to fill that huge physical resist hole. The fact being that it's vulnerable to snipers is a real turn off as just about any sniper that can get wep20 will rip it to shreds.

2. Change the Pulsed Aura to a Constant Aura, same stats of the effect.

3. Add 2 or 3 Super Items for increasing the Offensive, Defensive, and (only if 3) Everlasting stats of drones to be used one at a time like powerful inbuilt drone controllers.


Bule Abadi Spectre
1. Drastically increase the resists of the ship to like 30% or so with high resists to laser of like 50%.

2. Remove the Bule Systems Jammer or change it to an Aura that reduces the vis of its allies like that of the ZFE.

3. Add the terror aug inbuilts to the ship.


Golagaoy Vazaha Archtype
1. Remove the -15% Shield and replace it with +15% Shield

2. Fill that resist hole to surgical for all resists of 40%.

Give the Archtype a -speed aura to enemies like the prawn! Maybe not quite as strong, but a -speed aura none the less.

id still prefer a t20 or t 18 slavable version of all the lore ships .. but adding in smaller detaail to make a better t 19 ship is nice too. and inbuilt aura device isnt a bad idea either.

The point is the uniqueness of T19. You're limited in augs and therefore must make hard choices, but in the end, the result has to be worth the effort into locking that character to the lore skill. No sense in locking yourself to the skill if the same effort gets you a T20 ship for either cheaper price(Rosy) or better stats(Zebra) over the GVAT.

Penalty Speed Aura to Enemies would be a fun thing, SF. Would make a use for the ship in endgame pvp if team cannot afford a Prawn, or have no way in hell(Rosy's, Paxes, Wards) to obtain one.

Having tested this, the ironic issue is that because class skills (and lore) are skill point intensive, the various class locked & ruin tech ships are often available later than T20 ships. This is particularly the case with the Iq'Bana & T19 lore ships, but does effect others (such as the Emp Behemoth). e.g. to pilot a panther, a sniper can do that at level 550; getting into the sniper T19 Bana ship actually requires level 590-610 or so, due to requiring both class skills to be 19, and this is whilst heavily reducing investment in several core skills.

Solutions:

1) I ninja boosted some of the T19 ships last uni (Iq'Bana ones) with more hull inbuilt boosts ~ I'm looking at the entire range atm
2) Super-items; we'll look at these with particular attention for lore / class ships, and giving unique bonuses. Rough thumb-rule is making them 25% stronger than comparable tech super items
3) I could possibly lower the class locks on ships by 33%


The easiest solution would be to make T20 piloting require level 750, but I know you'll all explode if that were the case.

Lowering the class lock requirement would be a good idea. To be honest, I don't see why they require more than 1 level in the class, since that would already lock it from the others.

Good point. That does seem a bit strange.

Most though, the zerk speed auras definitely need to require the same amt of impervious armor. But things like the seer weps or monkey transferences shouldn't especially with such high skill point requirements as we have now.

Probably the least used ships are the Abadi Spectre(the inbuilt weapon doesn't work at all, atm, but because nobody uses it, nobody cares >.<), and the galogoay Archetype, which is just terrible in general. Though the Kikale Mzungu Frigate has only ever really been used by me, so it could probably use a significant beef as well.

A fun solution could be to just give all the ruin ships an extra aug slot. Extra aug slots always grab people's attention.

Another fun addition could be tech 19 ruin augs that require the skill. Would compliment the ships nicely.

Well, except for the unt fwing. It's already very powerful because of it's inbuilt item. The others though, for sure, and maybe even more than that.

Oh, also, it seems to have been forgotten, but a uni ago or so someone asked why the fwing and untwing had standard wingship inbuilt items, and someone said they'd fix it with something more uniquely faranji. Again, i think it just got forgotten. So a quick switch for that would be pretty cool.
