Post Base augs
I am running out of augs to put on my bases, I simply can't keep up with 200+ augs every uni. So this is my suggestion and I hope no one else has posted this or if its in game already, I have not played in a while due to computer problems.

In any case make all the ship specific augs in the game like slumber augs and so on have a BP to make a base aug with similar capabilities. These should have the same tech as the aug used to build them and of course need to be balanced according to the other base augmenters. One important thing for this to work is that they do not require any other normal augs to build otherwise the point of them would be lost. The BPs should also not be limited to a few builds since base augs is something you need loads of, with exception of perhaps a few really strong augmenters.

The reason we are running out of augs is because of these ship specific types. In order to fix the issue just make sure these augs can be used for bases as well. Furthermore I guess base versions of the god augs is a good idea as well as long as they are properly balanced.

Where would the BPs come from? DG drop tables are already pretty bloated.

I'm afraid you will be criticized for not simply buying the augs you need on the market. The idea is that you should be generating lots of revenue from 200 base augs' worth of bases and that this should more than cover the cost of gearing them. You also say that you've been away from the game for a while, and so unable to farm the augs you need.

However, I don't have a problem with well balanced base version of other common augmenters. The blueprints could obviously be obtained from the Acropolis through various missions.

After posting... I just realised they could be quiet easily obtained from the AI that drops the augs themselves. >.<'

True, except that wouldn't apply to god augs. Maybe just those ones would have the blueprints available at the Acropolis.

No, but he just suggested BPs for 30-50 new items... That's quite a few to add.

Providing you're running late game bases.

200 augmenters / 6 per base. 33 bases.

If you can run that many bases in my opinion you can surely buy the augmenters from the player base like everyone else with plenty of money to spare for even overpriced augmenters.

Nonetheless, I don't see anything wrong with putting in my options for base augging. It just comes down to whether anyone will take the time to balance the new content.

There are no augmenters available at reasonable prices if i want to get recovery augs they cost 1 bill each for sup, far to high to put on bases.

People need to get this, we are running out of augmenters anyone who builds more than 30 bases per uni knows this. This is just a suggestion to fix the fact that the increase in ship specific augs has reduced the augs drops from ais alot. Hence making them part of the base augs will in some way fix the problem.

I agree with blue dwarf they should not go into dg boss drop tables. For the AI specific use the AIs themselves. For god augs use BPs at some location preferably not the acropolis since that base has to many missions as it is, making a new base however would work fine.

Some stats on augs are too powerfull to boost to base augmenter lvls, for exampel any stat involving crit hits should either be kept low or removed and replaced by other stats.

the fact sup recoveries have gone from 100m to 1b in a very short time only a couple unis shows that the drop table is bereft of them...

start putting sup recovs in instead of all that trash in the drop table like venusian crap, magIX and andaman bp's...

Does anyone know what ai drop sup recovs regularly? other sups i got hundreds of just no recoveries... i bet if u did a grep of storages of the sup augs i bet it will be mega lop sided. I'd love to see that distribution statistics

There should be an area where you could go and be sure that you could get augs of a certain type. not saying they have to drop a ton of them, but you should be able to search out certain ai or go to a certain area when you are in need of a certain type of aug.

Agreed completely. It doesn't have to be instanced or anything, but at the very least there should be challenging AI or zones for each type of aug.

We get Hostile and Damage augs in copper. Just add an area similar to copper for each type of aug.
