Post Domes to be built on Gaseous Planets to increase suitability
Domes to be built on Gaseous Planets to increase suitability.

Dome(s) are built prior to colonization. Domes would come in 3 sizes and tech levels, T9, T12 & T16. Multiple domes can be built on a planet depending on its size. Once built the dome(s) would need to be Terraformed and then a colony started. Populous would automatically spread out into new domes. Dome Tech level and the number of comes would determine max population. Once built a dome can be upgraded to the next higher tech level.

IF this is implemented that it should be impossible to just drop a colony on a Gaseous planet until it has a dome and the inside of the dome is Terraformed.

I suggest a T16 dome should support 3 Billion population and increase Suitability by at least 5. T9 would support 1 Billion and raise suitability by 3. T12 would support 2 Billion and raise suitability by 4.

The number of domes that a planet can support would be determined by the planets size. I suggest: Small planet 2 Domes, Medium planet 3 domes and large planets 4 domes.

Once built and populated a LONG TERM Gas recycling project could be built to clear the air and make the whole planet habitable. This should take about 5-6 weeks to Terraform the atmosphere to Terran and further increase suitability and raise the population limit.
