Post Neurobound Olympus Engines
I am going to suggest making a set of Neurobound Olympus Engines.

These are my two main arguements:

1. Primal T20 Engines, and several T20 Engines* are way better than many Olympus Engines, maybe apart from the Tier 3 ones. To actually make it worth using a Tier 1-2 Olympus Engine over say, an UZ Engine, I would then suggest making neurobound versions like with the shields and energies.

Lion Thruster* > Zeus Engine/Zeus Olympios Engine
Lion Thruster** > Zeus Olympios Engine
Lion Thruster/Primal Zebra Muscles > Poseidon Engine
Most stealth engines* > Most Tier 0.75-2 "stealthy" Olympus engines.
Primal Rhino Charge > Anything, Olympus Tier 3 Engines normally don't even come close.

2. The rumors are telling me that Jeff did not want too many neurobound gear types, but he was fine with making missions for shields and energies, because they could not be dropped, then I really don't see a reason not to make neurobound engines as well.

Put up these missions, let them boost the Engine stats with 10% from the non-neurobound version, and give players a bigger reason to do Olympus for shards!

Need better engines from Oly, no doubt.

I just built a Zeus Olympios Engine, and I am in doubt when I consider replacing my Lion Thruster* with it, due to the size of the Zeus Olympios Engine.

I built the Singular Zeus Engine and have no bloody idea what they were thinking when they made the stats. iirc even a Vmotor* was better.

Perhaps it would get a use if it was a neurobound Singular Zeus Engine then!

But well, compare T20 Shields and Energies to T21 Olympus Shields and Energies, and you will see that the Olympus ones are certainly better by a mile or two.

Then compare T20 Engines to T21 Olympus Engines, and you will see that the Olympus ones are in most cases worse. Either revamp the Olympus Engines to match how powerful the T20 Engines are, and then beef the Olympus ones a bit more, or put in Neurobound missions for the current T21 Olympus Engines -if it is out of the question to change their base stats - and maybe then they will be worth it.

again its a shame the inbuilts go on base stats making a modded UZ engine way better.

I built the singular thinking it would match some of the smaller T18/20 engines and it comes nowhere close. Hell even an MFC/BMT was better iirc. Mobile so can't look up raw stats. The only decent T21 engine is the ares line.

If you can fit the huge Zeus Olympios Engine it can be worth it. But not by much for sure.

So yeah, it would be nice to see Olympus Engines revamped or following the suggestion I made in the original post.

Speaking of Olympus engines (and pardon my ignorance if I'm mistaken here), what happened to the Heph line of engines? Maybe Primal Rhino Charge would have some competition if these existed.

By the way, Thermal, perhaps the OS tier 2 Zeus engine could be used instead of PRC for Engineers, due to the +elec bonus? I don't have the exact stats on it, of course.

I have considered the Amped Zeus Olympios Engine instead of a Primal Rhino Charge.

And well, let's face it. Hephaestus uses (and drops) Zeus Radar, Poseidon Energy and Ares War Horses.
