Post Crit Hit Rate Stacking
Just throwing this out there, since it was on my mind during a car trip. I mainly would like to get more imput and different aspects of the idea.

So, my suggestion is to stack critical hit chance so that anything over 100% will act as a counter to critical hit resistance.


Example: If you could stack, I would have 160% critical hit chance with my current aug setup. Giving 60% left over. So if my friend Ted had 60% critical hit resistance. It would cancel out.

Seems logical, and prevents waste. Go green?

That's not even how Critical Hit Resistance works. If you have 160% chance and he has 60% resistance, the formula is

1.6 / 1.6 = 100% chance of a critical hit. Simon correct me if I'm wrong here.

No, right now. You can have 3000% chance mathematically, yet it only counts as 100%. I want the extra stuff to counter crit hit resistance.

The only things that have crit resists iirc, are engineers, capships, prawns, and the odd seer.

I see no reason to change it unless theres magically 500 new prawn pilots in the next month.

i dont think he understands that 3000% =100% why? since well you will crit every hit with 100% and 3000%... extra crit chance has always counter crit hit resist..
