Meaning, beef/tweak/change the inbuilts.



Edit: Devil, 100 distance is fairly close. I can see him from 1k away, but im a seer. To others, he is fine. Just like snipers.

The inbuilts are just extra's, you don't see the wattage inbuilt getting changed because it's annoying to get knocked around do you?

Yes I agree with you, it should be made more attractive to Seers. But some statements on your OP, I did not agree with. An example of which would be your suggestion to beef it's resists because the AWC has more, which brought me to my statement that AWC was designed for a different class.

Do you have any proof? I remember a team mate making a support ticket about this, Blue Dwarf responded by saying it's one of the wattage's drawbacks, if you do not like it use a different ship. Sadly this ticket has been deleted so I can't link it in here.

Kane was going to make his (the first in game) either a Stealth SD or a Speedy Sniper. He decided otherwise apparently.


One potential reason why even if they wanted to, won't turn the Nanite Weapon into a Tweak is...have you even seen a tweak affect your crit stats? There are no icons or stats atm without some coding for one or two people to benefit from.

Find me 10 Hermes ships in players' hands, then say "Oh we need this".


I know it sounds very negative, but the Zeus Throne had about 10 people before it was looked into, and Hermes is piss easy nowadays. The Hermes ship is as easy build as any of those ships and the Research module is a joke. Cloud Merc? Mine that for free with a BS and a couple slaves.



For the people who are not Basta. Basta like to play like a critty and slower stealth SD. The old Stealth SD Panthers, take that, reduce the speed, increase the crit chance, and now you have Basta's ideal Panther.

His setup is specific about Burst ROF. And he knows that he only needs a small crit chance bonus to seriously break that ship. Since it's a tweak, he'll expect to get about +25% crit chance and +30% crit strength.

The strength isn't the key part; the chance is. With one AoS, he has a 50% crit chance before ambush or the tweak. All he needs is about 75% while visible, and the dps will become extreme with a Midas.

Once about 75%, he can pile on the strength. Imagine a ship, with 75% chance, about 500% strength, and wailing on you with a Midas at a SD's RoF. This is a Death Striker. Now imagine what a Panther or Hermes can achieve.

THAT, is what Basta is trying to beef seer into.
