Light Commerce

History

Having previously been run by Mrs A and CH1PS, Light Commerce is now a contender for being THE oldest team in SS. Over our bloody history we’ve seen Alliances forged, and Empires fall, and through it all LC has emerged, and outlived many of the teams who were sworn to destroy us.

Together with a strong base of players (both old and new), our aim is to keep growing, and to enjoy our time in Star Sonata. We want to enjoy the game, but also to excel at it. We’re not cutthroat pirates, but we’ve shown we can hold our own in the turmoil of SS politics, and we’re not afraid to stand up for ourselves in the face of odds. In the past we've been greatly outnumbered and out geared, yet we haven't given up. We've always been vindicated in the end, outlasting all of these teams as they have either been destroyed, or fallen apart through their own lack of team integrity.

Despite all of this LC is a relatively peaceful team, we’re the kind of people who prefer a diplomatic solution to any disputes/problems, and we like to try and resolve any bad blood after any conflict concludes.

Policy

Within LC

- Scammers or thieves on the team will NOT be tolerated, these matters will be dealt with quickly, and KoS’s/wars placed.

- Provocative smacktalking is not tolerated in LC. Members of our team are not condescending/abusive either during or after PvP, and we strongly encourage our members to try and uphold a positive self, and team image.

- You will be expected to be independent, but be eager to participate in various team activities.

- Do not start fights or shoot anyone first. Handle the matter diplomatically or pass it to a higher ranking person if necessary.

- All members are to follow the LC rules and internal policies as detailed on the LC website and forums.


External to LC

- Should you have a problem with an LC member then please forward your complaint(s) to Kangaroo_blob (the Public Relations Officer).

- LC prefers to resolve matters without the need for violence; however should you feel the need to shoot without allowing LC to resolve the matter we will protect ourselves and fight back.

Agreed 100%. I highly doubt anything could take this team down short of a random woman walking into sharky's home.

Would just like to add that I am negotiable on the walking part and may still be willing to consider a romance if you cant necessarily tick the "Has Pulse" box.
