Well I was able to log in for about a minute before I got kicked out. When I tried to log back in, the message said failed to open socket.

That's no big deal. The game is crashing a lot because it's brand new in beta. The message about a socket just means the server is down. It usually stays down for 5 or 10 minutes.

I find if i uninstall and reinstall I can play but if I close the game, I will need to uninstal and reinstall again in order to play. Though this is 5th time I have tried to play by this process and I get socket error again. I may try to install again.

Dude, the reason you can play after a reinstall is because that's how long it takes them to fix the server. The reason it didn't work this time is because the server has been down extra long.

When you get the "no socket" message, it means THE SERVER IS DOWN. none of us can play then, and reinstalling will not fix it.
