Locked warps eat keys before you warp regardless if you are locked or not.

Which warp exactly or is it all of them?

The lion gate ate our lion keys when we tried to warp in (didnt realise we were locked).
The person who warped on the emperor gate (crater?) noticed the key was used even if he had a warp restriction from the ai's parasite.
