I thought admins made it so you could push a team out of the top 5 to deny their emp claim. Why the fuck hasn't BP lost theirs considering how they are not in the top 5 anymore?

BP did actually loose it once when they were in claim of throne (their pop dropped too low iirc) but once their actually emp they stick around unless someone kills them off. Having em below top 5 means they don't have the ability to try and claim the throne again.

If a team has reached emp and holds the palace, they can be any rank they want AFTER the director docks at sol. They cannot reclaim emp if they're not in the T5.

This is accurate, once the coronation is complete the only way they can lose emperor is if the palace is destroyed.

Okay, I recalled to remember that, that was changed somehow and knocking a team out of the top 5 was a viable way of ending an emp run. Seems I was wrong though then.
