Am i the only one that finds mass driver way superior to every other AIbase phys wep?

They definitely ain't OP, it's just the weird thing that most of the phys weps are just pointless. And 150 range for 12 techs is a very low bonus.

As a dev once said, every next tech has 10% extra power compared to previous. On those i don't really see this being applied.

The "power" that developer does not mean only "straight up dps".

Every stat on an item has its own "Power Point" weight. Some stats weigh more than others. Thats why on radar augmenters, the radar bonus tends to get big fast, whereabouts a series of augs that feature elect temp tend to have very small increases.


Sure, a Mass Driver does more dps, but it is bigger, has a lot less range, and because both can be AI drops, have the potential for a far weaker mod.

Basta means that it tends to be when every time he pokes his head into a topic and mentions seer class, (which is nearly 100% of the time) he mentions some kind of beef to seer because he loves seer so much.

And normally this beef either gets shot down by a dev or is responded with "If I add X to one side, I must subtract Y to make the equation true". IE: a nerf. The counter-argument for the nerf shuts basta up or makes him argue more on why seer needs to be a crazily OP class.

So, if the topic has nothing to do with seer, just ignore basta when he tries to suggest yet another beef.
