Intended and desirable are completely different things. Brute Force is intended for Speed Demons. ID is desirable for 2/3 classes, but any class will suffice.

I wouldn't give a damn, if it was intended and someone done it with a stealthy Gunner, cookies to them for thinking outside the box (unless it's class specific, in such cases I'd lock it to that class anyway).

I tried dark kobaldsten, killed him regularly, and then don't get a single damn drop except for kobaldsten's offensive lazer, which turns out to be a piece of trash. I think blue dwarf is fixing it, not sure when the patch goes in to adjust the stats.

Other than that, mmm, yeah, I gave up after kobaldsten drops nothing but coins for me 20 times in a row. The lazer is literally the only drop I have ever gotten after doing it for a uni and a half. Won't even bother with the other bosses. Why, when I'm literally, completely wasting my time?

If the lockout was two or even three weeks, but I got a drop, a real boss loot table drop, from the bosses EVERY SINGLE TIME, I'd do it religously. As is, forget it. I get much better gear from random DGs in a far shorter ammount of time. Same with mausoleum. I'm pretty disgusted with the ammount of time I put into that place as well and get an incredibly bad return on my effort.

Ugh, so true. I've gotten a blueprint or two from Kobaldstein but can barely bring myself to keep my 3-day lockout when the overwhelming result is just a few coins.

EXACTLY! The shitty drops wouldnt bother me as much if the lockout werent so long. Im tired of spending hours in the mausoleum and the bext thing i get is a huge launching tube :x

You must be in some really bad luck, or the opposite is the case for me. I have gotten in about 20-25 kills of Dark Kobaldstein:

Advanced Dark Matter Extractor
4 Dark Doom Engine Blueprints
3 Dark Doom Shield Blueprints
2 Dark Kobaldstein Offensive Laser
2 Dark Kobaldstein Defensive Laser
1 Dark Kobaldstein Assault Laser Blueprint
1 Dark Kobaldstein Protective Laser Blueprint

And while it might be pure luck from my side, then I have only ever once done 3/4 bosses and only gained credits as drops. I think it is fine that the drop rates are as they are tho. Or else the market will be flooding in a month.

More than 1 BP a kill? Hard to believe when I cant get a single bp in 4-5 runs and hear the same thing from other peoples.

I also got double drops from him one time, although I generally get nothing. The market wouldn't flood any faster though if lockout time and drop rate were increased by the same factor.

The market will flood faster if the drop rate and the lockout time is increased with the same factor, combined with players doing the ubers every lockout (which seems different from what the situation is right now?).

Fair point, but obviously it's possible to strike some balance where the average boss kill will be more rewarding and yet the lockout is long enough to keep supply from exploding. I can't comment on that without actually seeing some numbers, of course.

I would personally be a fan of longer lockouts for better loot. Doing Olympus everyday for more then a month really got to me. Can hardly bring myself to go in anymore.

Attempted him 8 times, killed him twice with 3 snipers, the other times ive done it with those snipers, he doesnt stop using it :)
