AEM is pretty intelligent.

AEM was smart, she just wasn't always logical in her smartness, and had a bit of a superiority complex to boot. She often thought that if people didn't follow her way, they were stupid or crazy, and there was no other option.

If her feeling had been a bit more ironclad she could have been super fun to argue with, but she also had pretty delicate feelings, making arguing with her difficult at best.

She was still probably one of the best devs we've ever had, but she had her flaws.

I'd take her flaws over not having her at all!

My point is merely that "she had [...] flaws" is a given due to being human. It is redundant to point it out.

Others might disagree, but I'd rather be dealing with honest people who are saying what they actually think rather than saying what people want to hear. Shit gets boring if everyone's simply tossing up the stereotypical "professional" attitude because there is an expectation of it. Hell, this doesn't even tend to be expected when the person is a volunteer game developer who isn't even required to talk to people.

AEM was as near perfect as you can come for an active developer for this game with one superior strength: the ability to get a large amount of things done in a short amount of time.
