Post Hawk in need of beef, scoop is t21.
Ok, so I just cracked open my hawk, played around in it to only find out that noooo, you not only need p21 to use this ship but you need EQ 21 to SCOOOP?

SERIOUSLY?

First, its extremely low hull space, TERRIBLE inbuilt stats, it cost a shit ton to build, its got mediocre resists, and to top it ALLL off it only has +21 elec inbuilt (when the t20 version of the ship has +60 something elec inbuilt)

Please someone answer me what is sooo special about this ship that you had to nerf it with this scoop shit.

ALL that's running through my mind right now is i have to use up 70 more oly shards for me to be able to SCOOP THINGS.

From all the great things Ive heard about the ship... even before requiring E-21, I would never build a hawk. You would think with how much damage they do the ship would be uber... One would even hope there would be compensation for its crappy resists in other areas... an inbuilt battle scoop doesnt really seem to be an even trade for such. Fix plox devmins, MAKE THE HAWK FLY! Its more like a penguin, no scratch that... more like a chicken penguins can at least swim well and can slide around and shit.

I'll look at it.

If the scoop is an inbuilt, I agree, that's fairly bad thinking; expect some ninja editing.


Superitems, on the other hand... requiring tech equivalent Equipment skill is fair enough.

Changed Hunter to T0 from T21 (Didn't realise Scavenger was T0) (The scoops).

Increased hull from 300 to 320, decreased vis by 1, decreased diameter by 5 (thus changed reflectivity).

Juice gen hasn't changed, Vulture doesn't get any. Don't lie, it makes me not want to change it at all.

Overall resist power is a tiny bit over Panther's level.

Overall power on Hawk is now a bit over Vulture (how it should be)

The Vulture's juicegen has always bounced around between ~50 and 0. Originally Voom made it to be an alternative to the Izer for fledgling T20 SD. Devs would randomly remove its inbuilt elec, only to reinstate it later when players complained. So yeah, Paxx isn't lying.
