Since I'm a player in addition to being on the dev team I deliberately do not look at content that is currently being created. In content meetings I usually am on for the first few minutes (which we talk about non-content stuff). Other devs who also play the game tend to follow the same line of thinking. I will get with AEM as soon as I can (Family business has me out of town today), and I will confirm or deny it. I agree that misinformation isn't beneficial and is confusing.

All this picture proves is that admin accounts have the power to put skills past their cap.

Actually, it proves two things: skills are capped to certain levels (some of which might be unavailable to players), and there's more hard-coded skills than you realised.


After all, I can't add the code for a skill, I'm just content. And content can get you skills... hmm, what a Catch-22 this is!

So you base this obvious lie about a skill that doesnt exist on the fact that the database can access higher numbers than is gettable through clicking buttons ingame to achieve skills?

Also, how are the other skills related to AI?

There was a discussion in all chat regarding other skills....Comet Chaser/Trev/Daedalus and myself
were talking about them.

ok u have proved that the skills are coded into the game, however most of those skills i saw have never been found afaik surely some1 would have atleast found where u train them even if they havent actually gained them if they existed for players

The last hint on this that I will provide:

There are currently three legitimate & available ways to upgrade / increase skills in game, that do not involve Admin intervention.

Not all hidden systems / stations have be found, I'm fairly sure of that (for example, you won't be able to dock at Adum's Palace if you ever found it without piloting 100 anyhow). Other hidden ones are actually open to players under certain conditions.

One last disclaimer: if you don't approach this with a sense of fun / are willing to waste your time on puzzles do not bother. Many of the skills above are long superseded & not much use especially when *modded items are available; some have hard-coded caps on them (AI for instance) which means a higher level skill is useless.

Search only for fun & bragging rights!

that isnt an actual hint, its just a msg saying theres hidden bases out there we havent found

Training at stations is one way to gain skills.

There are two others.

the 3rd is what? using an item is a possibility but i havent seen any evidence of this on any items ive seen so far
