true true but there is still that small problem ... of either reaching or withstanding a long range barrage of enemy fire...


here's an example... in my zerking times. i was able to kill many many many ai with ease. however one of the most simple of all mini ubbers.
"Speedy Gonzalaz" due to his increased speed and excelletn maneuverablity. my only choice was using long range trackign weapons.

without that resistance i would have died rather quickly..

nto complaining exactly... im ok over all with the zerker's current ability

but .. ahh and woa the frustration of dying to a EF layer mini ubber...
when being able to solo a forgone swarm...

forgones use close range combat easy pickings form ost any zerker that is used to peril..

however
if u go against a logn ranged ai. say speedy or Bellarmine or BFH
you notice a problem.. sure u can resist there damage n such and still pump out a easy 200 k + amount of dps but... what is it worth when u cant see or reach them ?


sure that can be fixed with augs and better radar n such.

but one is already sacraficing that room for bank energy and shield rof and so on...

Try doing Gonz on a Seer, you need to 1 hit it or your screwed becouse you only got low range wep, no tracking, no shields, nothing exept for high damage per hit if you strike from behind, if you dont kill it in 1 hit you ider get non stop fired at from it or you warp out, wait for it to fully regenerate and try again

I wonder how would zerk work if we got rid of travelling fields and turn Impervious armor to speed scaled skill?

Add host to the skill as well if that's the case!

More resists and host the slower you are?

2 caz aod lion holds hostility pretty well but i do have some evil gear. Still some snipers take aggro so a + hostility bonus would be nice, then i could focus a little more on dps. With the current setup my dps is horrible!

And there's plenty of solo zerk setups, just consider using a vulture Aug and a shield with decent regain or carry some sss.

You haven't really payed attention to the maths I showed at all. 2 CaZ Wattage in a Wattage with no *Evil gear will not hold the hostility from high end snipers. I do not consider your Absentis sniper to be high end.

well do u consider pos wave sniper sdo be high end? cause ive played with a few of those also and stil no problems.

well do u consider pos wave sniper sdo be high end? cause ive played with a few of those also and stil no problems.

All depends how they aug. A PWave sniper can do 111k base DPS without any mods which is enough to steal aggro given time. That being said, 2 CaZ is no where near enough aggro for any good sniper.

A Poseidon Wave sniper can not compare with a well geared Wattage sniper or Prawn sniper, which I consider way more high end and will put out a ton more DPS and take a ton more hostility. So no, I do not consider Poseidon Waves to be high end snipers for runs.

ok fair point but if your playing with beefed up wattage and prawn snipers dont u think the devs wanted zerks to have to make some effort to be able to hold aggro?

The point Thermal is making is that you need stupidly ridiculously well modded items (tons of small t17+ weapons) in order to achieve this. This limits "high end" Zerks to a very small amount of people considering how few of these items there are in game. No one should be forced to spend hundreds of billions on modded gear just to fulfill their roll, not even to excell.
