Played C2 for a while now and I can say that I prefer the look & feel & play of C1. This being said, I would like to see an option for people to play C1 (if they want to). Anyone else of the same mind?

i prefer when people had a chance of dropping gear if they were lazy .

Most people loved the shiny graphics of SS1, the ships had some pretty detail and the lightning wasnt off. Not that UI, nope...

Thats nice work blue, looks good. And how about an option to pick a background color for space? Continual black in a stealth ship is a bit like sea sickness & a little disorientating. I like the tan color of C1 - things stood out nicely.

It will work the same, eventually.

When it's done it will, or very near too.

It's also designed to be backward compatible with C1 UIs.

So when you finish this will it look basically like C1 or near enough?

The goal is, when it's done. It'll be as much like as the C1 UI as possible for me to do/get stuff code wise done.

Jey said he would do code for the client for a C1-like play style, but he said he'd only do that if someone else put the leg work in to start a project like this off. He doesn't want to spend ages coding features that no one uses because they forgot about them.

That screenshot is kinda outdated from the current version, I have added the exit game button, the invent header and a CPU - GPU lagkiller level display were the old FPS one was. I've also started working on all the dialogs/windows, like character, team, possessions, squad, missions etc. I've done character and team but there is some odd behaviour going on which I haven't figured out yet.

I've sorta stopped for a while, Easter is getting close and I need to get finishing stuff up or you won't have new shiny stuff!
