Last I heard they were taking turns trying to fix something to do with glows but failing. It's possible it wont happen...

What, you just want the glow to fade in and out like the old, or are you complaining because you play on low and don't see the glows. IMO, the Pax's look absolutely amazing in high graphics setting.

They do look awesome.

But yes, the fade in and out was very nice. Also, in c1 each pax had a different color. Serenities were red. Celesticas were blue. Now they all share the same exact color scheme, just with different sizes. The colors were a very important part of the pax line.

The fading of the glow and different colors for the glow would either need to be some new, somewhat complicated coding because the client can't do things like that with the glow map, or else the model would have to be broken into two parts with a separate glowing part that we could fade in and out with an animatrix.

I love the current model personally, and the glow on/off effect is kind of retro for an advanced alien race anyways...

bump, every Pax ship looks exactly the same.

The traditional Pax ships need to be reverted back to the old color scheme.

Pax Astro blue, selen indigo, UH Pax grey, etc etc.

dooo ittt nowwwww!

I think the glow on/off is lame, maybe just different textures for each ship would be okay.

I would be perfectly fine without the fading glow so long as the different colors are brought back. I want to be able to tell the different Pax apart with a quick glance. It's no fun when the T3 pax looks the same as the Christmas one or the T20 one.
