Sniper Prawn with 2x Raging Dio, 1x Divine Wattage, 1x Cerb.


Am I the first to discover this setup?

With Sniper skills at 20 and AT at 20, the damage per volley comes out to about 99.5 times the base damage of the Physical weapon.

With PZHT's and Sniper Analysis fully charged the DPS comes out to roughly half a million.

Does anyone else see a problem with Cerb augs? It allows Snipers to get not just a 33x damage modifier, but close to 3 times that.

If that Sniper were to get Analysis charged on an Ada kit, it could do TONS of damage.

So, although I think the Cerb Aug is awesome, it needs to be removed. ASAP. Before someone builds one of these things.

Prawn snipers are ftw!

I've been aware of what Cerb aug can do on Sniper for roughly one year now. A full-analysis DPS of 500k with PZHT is really nothing out of the ordinary. It's good, but not jaw-dropping. I know setups that can get 250k with MT and not need to drag an EFDN-sized battery around with them -- that's 442k DPS with PZHT right there.

So why is it that no one has said anything? It's ridiculous.

Also, I have no calculator or degrees in mathematics.

About 90-100k shields if done right with my setup, and -60% elec temp on top of -10%.

Powering it at least for enough time to destroy everything around you is not a problem, nor is survivability.

An old friend was trying to do CaL, CaZ, Cerb, Dwatt for a Prawn. Told him every base was going to auto-kill him before the shms would be able to get a hold of the situation.

That's not how elec temp works. Also, your setup is highly visible and has middling range, to be honest. We toasted such Prawn snipers in Anatolia when they attacked us solo.

The prawn, on its own, is broken.

The cerberus aug, on its own, is broken.

The two together become absurdly wtfbubblegum broken.

And I know for a fact that that's not the most broken setup out there. Whoever decided either one would be a good idea should probably be knocked out an airlock.

Honestly not a huge fan of the Cerb aug but the Prawn comes from easily the most tricky uber in game, makes sense that it would be the best in the terms of combat power.

Half a million unsustained dps isn't the slightest bit surprising. I highly doubt your math is even close to correct, but even if it were the results are easily within the realm of possibility.

What you neglect to mention is that your elec use is 17k/s vs your 700/s regen.
