I understand Surging means oversized but i was unaware of this much of a size increase . I would most certainly be in favor of a modest DPS decrease to bring the size under 1k.

I would say that side effect + range is more useful then the DPS.

You could use it on a T21 base!

Useless in PvAi imo and next to useless in PvP. Engis have better use for elec in both and this weapon takes a lot of it.
Could be used in PvB to break base's limit of powering weapon, but then again SBP cries how hard and meaningless PvB is.

Imo this weapon is just wild creation of balance sheets, some1 had the idea but balance sheets made it hardly useable.

I managed to fit this on my Pos Wave but i was unable to fit a single other item other than a shield and energy =P and even then i had to have an SSS aura to keep from being overhulled and had to use a Rich Christmas Pudding to get it on there in the first place

Too bad it isn't a mining weapon, otherwise it would be epic on a Gunner Assault Behe or BSphere.

Besides, laser weapons traditionally affect shield, not energy...

I want one of those. To support this madness I will list the size and DPS of a weapon that I had dropped once that is sitting in my storage.

Amped Chain Lightning - 675 size / 274 DPS

This weapon jumps twice with 75% damage each jump. Yeah, that pretty much sums up how often I use it.

I'd put a pair of those on my assault behemoth.
