I missed so much of SS events, even the halloween, here in my country we aint got that, so i tottally missed the event.
A lovely and helpfull idea would be a newsletter. Tbh im not sure if one exists already and im not subscribed to it ...
I also missed the screenshot event thing. What a pitty. Would have been lovely to try and actually post a pic there and try my luck.
Too bad i wasnt aware of such a thing.
So well, a newsletter would be lovely. Admins, i say this is of a higher importance than anything else ur programming/ w/e.

And i mean really the game really needs a newsletter. It REALLY does, i missed to many events already. Would be very nice for a newsletter, and it shouldnt take an admin/ w/e more than 10 mins to make a newsletters... that would be sent at max once per week ..
Really, why not? It is quite important, it helps people keep in touch with SS while not having to go on forums to find out whats new.
I mean, i forgot of halloween, a newsletter would have reminded me, as i check my mail really often, and surely others do aswell.
Should be helpfull, really.

I can assure you it'll take at least half an hour if it's of any quality.

One per week for a news letter is too often, we can't work fast enough to give it meaningful content each time, a month would be better.

A solution to this for now, would be to mark "News" and "Updates" as read, then subscribe to both boards. I have done this for Bugs, so I know when someone posts something in the bugs section.

Otherwise, we're going to be improving team-player contact-y stuff soon.

the newsletter ain't gotta be of any quality, just something to remember people of events that will take place and maybe a short summary of what's happened in game (like noticeable wars)
