Permanent Drones
Augged permanent Drones, when scooped should remain augged and have an "*" appended to their name and show how they are augged in the info box for them. They should also be larger, depending in the aug(s) used. And if two or more are augged the same they should stack in storage.
Also Permanent Drone(s) should be able to be transferred from player to player, if the receiving player has the required skill(s) do deploy it. This would allow very large Drones to be deployed by a player with a very large hulled ship and then transferred to and alt or another player. The bonuses of the new owner are then applied.

Why don't you suggest that bases also get their augmenters unequipped on the last day of the universe while we are at it? Maybe providing a reason for why you are suggesting what you are is a good idea?

Easy to say but not easy to do when you are under pressure to move one or more P-Drone(s) in order to protect a high value gal in a hurry. Not only that but at the beginning of a uni most BASIC augs that are used for drones are in VERY short supply.

but yes on the transfer I don't really see why you would need to move permanent drones after deploying and augging them. Get more drones and more characters to deploy with if you really need to grab a new gal some time into the uni.

I'll personally say no to both.
For the augmenter part, it creates a aug-sink, and thus promotes trade.
For the drone transferring part, it would allow you to have drones on alts which don't have the piloting to fly a ship big enough to drop them, it just promotes the idea of having alts merely for base/trade/drone slots.
