Are you kidding me? Missiles do not lag me at all, 20 ships firing near me don't affect me. Going through the warp effect that is a full screen effect completely locks my client up.

The low quality warp effect extends in all directions and makes all the stars stretch and slowly fade into position from the center of the galaxy. On higher settings (medium, high) I an warp without it freezing up, it's a lot more simple, smaller warp effect.

the delay your experiencing when you jump is not caused by the warp effect, but by the texture loading since it need to load the textures for everything in the other gal (that you hadnt seen yet).

You can tick preload textures in options to avoid that issue, since it will load every textures right away it wont have to load them as you see them.
