It is a built aug, and the bp drops from The Mausoleum, like the other Maus T18 slave augs.

However its stats are not exactly that great. It feels like a downgrade of the Zeus aug, rather than even a comparable aug when built. And if it was not for the +25% Elect bonus, the Vesta aug is better, and does not need to be built.

So, I propose a beef. My personal idea is to just increase the range bonus to match the Zeus+'s +20% bonus.

It's a tech 18 aug, you cant compare it to Zeus+. It is in fact a downgrade from the Zeus. The benefit is that you can actually use it on a slave.



If you dont need the elec bonus then use a Vesta instead. If you need the elec bonus the Zeus- can be a option.

Golden aug is better than the Zeus- 99% of the time. It's also T6.

But thats not really the point. The point is that YOU HAVE TO BUILD A ZEUS MINUS FOR SHITTIER STATS THAN AN AUG IN WHERE YOU GET AS A DROP.

It's like building a Combined Aspect of Zebra for your Zerk only to find out the Combined Aspect of Lion is a drop from the same uber and has the same droprate as your CaZ bp.

Vesta aug is better and is a drop.
You still have to build the shittier Zeus-.

Boost the range to 15-20% and it is an option that is more in line with the rest of the Mausoleum augmenters. The fact that it is a blueprint is not important in my opinion.

And a emp aug is better then a Zeus+ but people still use Zeus+. The fact that you have to build the Zeus- is irrelevant, it's both easy and cheap to build.

Zeus- is based on the normal Zeus aug, since it's tech 18 instead of tech 19 it needs to have lower stats. Simple as that. If you prefer the Vesta aug then use it, no one is forcing you to use a Zeus-.

Nope, but it's probably irrelevant for voomy coz you CAN use it.

There are plenty of augs that no one is currently using, that does not mean that they are useless.

I can take a look at the stats of the Zeus- aug but I dont think there is much room for any big beefs.

With the increased SP cost it's possible that all the tech 18 augs will be used more.
Zeus- may not be what the high end players want for their slaves but for someone who has just gotten piloting 18 and will be using a tech 18 ship as his main ship until he can get piloting 19 it might be a good choice.

Yes someone in a tech 18 ship wont be able to do Mausoleum but he can still buy the aug from other players.

15% range, and you will see a lot of T18 Snipers/SDs use this aug. Maybe even more people will use them for slaves as well. The 5% range in a setup is nearly not visible at all. The damage and electrical regeneration bonus on it is fine, but the range bonus is so low that you might as well count it as 0 in most setups.
