Remove it from the Battle Thatch, and add a noengine tag.

why?
at the moment they're only really used for a few not very impressive combat salves and a lot of quite good trade slaves. Both those get screwed over like this.

They are Battle Thatches, not Trade Thatches. All people do is exploit them to increase trading scores by having them dock at the same base buying and selling stuff 24/7.

This means there is a problem with the trading score code, not the slaves used.

there has always been an issue with it. It is supposed to be based on the stuff you sell to the ai station. But you can just set slaves to do it and that really doesnt mean diddly. XD

Though why they havnt been fixed is beyond me..battle thatches are a combat ship. trade cbs shouldn't even be equipable.

Why couldn't you use a battle ship as a trade slave? Why not ban all other combat ships as trade slaves in that case?

EDIT: Admins know about the trade score thing and BT slaves and they have said they are fine with it. If someone wants to use tons of trade slave slots for semi useless thing like that, he can do that.

Also, what Radia said. Trade score is broken, not battle thatch slaves.

This is wrong. This is incorrect, and if you knew what Battle Thatch slaves are capable of in terms of being used as normal trade slaves, for slaving commods between bases, then you would never say something like this. If you want to make a discussion based around that, then we can do that, but I have many arguments and examples that will prove that Battle Thatch trade slaves in general is severely broken.

BTs are pretty good for certain commods. The programming limit makes them more useful than some alternatives :)

Not being used for combat? My own experience says that i have used them just for that, rarely for trade because of the low agility. IF you would remove maneuvering thrusters then they would be pointless, they would be like thatches with less space and no way of coming back when drifting out(especially since you cannot tractor your teammates in protected systems anymore!)
