G'day,

Can we have the Heph Machines' SSS replaced withsomething that is actually useful, or atleast VASTLY improved. It's useless atm. I suggest either a monster Damage Boost too it or replace it with something like a +Hull Bonus or spawn a mini-poly(that is actually useful, unlike the Zeus Throne Jupiters' Call Super). And to anyone who says that the Heph machine is such a good ship that it doesn't need a good super GTFO! The strength of a ship should be irrelavent in reguards to the usefulness and practicallity of the super.

Oh, and while we're at it, can we add an extra super on the Gunner/FC RP dreads. At the moment they only have the -200% Damage pulse gun thing, which is cool, but the Engi/Shm Dreads have that as well AND a drone generator. Perhaps for the FC, an aura that Gives +Damage/RoF to all allies for 5 seconds, similar to a Lion Maul that effects everyone. As for the gunner, something like Sin of the Times, but launches like 10-15 high damage, high speed, low turning missiles.

I don't care about the heph machine, but regarding RP ships: I feel the gunner/FC ones should each get an item generator, like the ShM/engi ones. FC would have a fighter generator, gunner a missile generator. Each would produce 1 fighter/missile maximum, and it would take a while (somewhere between 2 and 5 minutes).

The fighter would not be able to dock again once launched. The fighter would be both heavily shielded and high-damage, perhaps a mini EFF with a powerful capital mining laser, which would also give an aura that wouldn't overlap with real FC auras (resistance to damage sounds good to me). That aura would affect all allied players, not just fighters and missiles like normal fighter auras. It would be very well-shielded, comparable with the Qokuji'qii fighters.

The missile would be a slow-moving, low-manuverability bomb, extremely heavily shielded, which would have maybe 10 billion weight while flying (not while in the ship) and an engine capable of moving it properly. It would deal a significant amount of damage on hit (ideally around 50k pre-resists, which will come to about 20k vs an average endgame ship), give a crippling debuff for a short amount of time, and thanks to the extreme weight knock back everything near it.

Hmmm Missile Platform for gunner ship!
Well shielded missile with 5 other missiles onboard and missile launcher capable of launching them at the same time.
Each mini missile would have different damage type: heat,laser,mining,surg and rad. They would be faster and much more fragile than main missile.
They would also have 100% crit hit &effect chance(debuffing via crit effects).
They could also have some aoe.

i wouldnt say the SSS should have damage changed, just make it a pulse burst from your ship with around 10 projectiles, with a high crit chance.

Ashta is right. Just because you make a statement like that does not mean it holds any weight.

The HM is already a fantastic ship and besides the Wave none of the other high end t20-t21 ships have any useful SSS. It was even stated by Jeff somewere that they were not really meant to be that strong at all, just interesting.

But yeah, the Hephaestus Machine is a beast of a ship, it's four augmenter slots just makes it too powerful (I think it should be nerfed a bit, but that's me). So no.
