The Salty One Team: Main: Eurus Level: 2330 Class: Shield Monkey Joined: Fri Aug 14, 2009 5:27 pm	Drones We need more... Mobile drones, healing drones (etc). Some kind of mobile T20 healer, mobile surgical drones (other than blue tricks), mobile KMW drones (etc). There is some kind of limit (around t10) where mobile drones peter out. We have the bule mobile blaster chain and? Mobile drones are fun to play with: we need more. (Oh and give us a way of increasing the speed of mobile drones whilst you're at it... sup. speed controller?) _________________ Space for rent!

Getting lost in space glitches, not decelerating glitches or what happened to my files glitches? Don't all mobile drones follow at the same speed? I'm thinking that it's a bit hard coded. When playing around with drones for Hermes I got some to go over 700 speed. Although I'm not sure if this would cause issues on live server. I think Infernal Darkness should be limited to Snipers, Seers and Speed Demons if it was up to me. And if any mobile drones are to be added, make mobile drones that is made for agility, stealth, speed, long range, short range healing, and so on. I can try and make a few suggestions to some drones if needed. Mobile Drones is something I would like to see in an uber zone made off of Perpetual Motion. Hopefully mobile drones will make it possible to motivate players to make Light Fighter and Heavy Fighter Engineers, instead of only Freighter classed ships as Engineers. I used to have my Engineer Rhino going 200 speed with enough fine-tuning, I would have loved to use some decent mobile drones with that. _________________

My design doc has taken that into account for some of the bosses there. I see no reason not to add a drone or two in somewhere.
