I move as follows:

1: That the current universe and consortium of players shall be known as the "Alpha" universe. Alpha shall be used to refer to it in all future references.

2: The current Beta universe and consortium of players shall be known as the "Delta" universe. Delta shall be used to refer to it in all references following its full release.

3: Following the end of the Beta test period, all Delta characters and posessions shall be moved to the Delta Universe, which will not be connected to Alpha Universe in any way, shape, or form. All characters and levels shall be held completely seperate, until;

4: Following a one(1) year period, the Delta Universe will have "stabilized" enough for a massive low Warp Navigation wormhole to connect the two systems, allowing for full travel between the two systems.

5: Following this connection, the instability caused by the connection of two seperate universes shall spawn the third universe, known herein as Gamma.

6: Gamma will not be connected to Alpha or Delta in any way shape, or form, until a one(1) year period has passed, at which point it, too, will have stabilized enough to be joined to the existing multiverse cluster.

7: This pattern shall continue ad infinitum.

So if someone decides they want to start multiclienting, they won't be able to until a year after the second account is created?

If they start their new account in the Delta Universe, then yeah.

Wait... Huh? Nodes here are "star systems" like Sol? And we get to have sepperate universes where accounts from the testing period get to come in from. Gamma would be another universe as well?

Nodes are universes. The rest should be reasonably obvious if you devote more than two braincells to it.

Seeing how that might cause some confusion, i edited the original post slightly. The intent, however, remains unchanged.

Hybrids of Shards and Persistent Universes never happened, for a good reason.

Playerbase too small for one point.

I'm not saying that there should be a persistant universe, just that there should be more than one. And that they shouldn't be connected immediately.

What you are basically suggesting is different servers, which is not going to happen anytime soon. Your suggestion would only work if we had a growth of atleast 1000 players per year, on the new server that we have to setup each year.

It's not a very good idea.
